Introducing an inherent yield in a DTF without requiring a campaign could be highly beneficial. Locking RSR already provides yield, but additional mechanisms could enhance this further. Tokenized REITs have the potential to be a game-changer, as they naturally generate yield—high-quality commercial real estate, for example, provides consistent returns unless market conditions shift drastically. A strong approach could be directly engaging with American REITs to explore tokenizing their income or stocks. Additionally, collaborating with REITs to tokenize their debt could be another viable strategy, allowing interest payments to be distributed to holders of REIT-based DTFs.
